Know Where the Information Comes From.

When you ask about a product, you should be able to see the relevant details, not just a collection of badges. This page explains the documents to request and how to read them.

The Current Product Label

Use a legible label for the exact product version being supplied. It should let you check ingredients, serving information, warnings, storage and the responsible company details.

The Applicable Malaysian Status

Ask which local classification applies to the product and what documentation supports it. An overseas notification or certificate should not be presented as Malaysian approval.

Manufacturing and Test Documents

Check the named facility or product, the issuing organisation, the report date and any limits to its scope. If a report refers to one batch, it should be described that way.

Your Order and Supply Details

Keep your invoice and order confirmation. Check that the delivered contents match the quotation and retain the batch and expiry details if you need to raise a concern.
